Certified Financial Planner & Tax Preparer
This job requires several (preferably 5+) years of financial planning and U.S. tax preparation experience. This person will prepare individual, comprehensive financial plans, analysis and calculations to assist with client decision making. A thorough knowledge of the planning processes, investment universe, benefits, insurance, trust/estate matters, law, and tax regulations, is required.

This position will work with mid- to high- net worth clients and firm staff to perform: projections and forecasts; college, retirement and other long-term planning; tax planning; tax preparation evaluation of investment options; benefits analysis; estate planning; cash flow management; definition of client goals and objectives and other services. Additionally, there are opportunities to provide strategic consulting services, train and coach staff, and perform business planning and valuations. This position is expected to develop and deliver professional presentations, reports, tax returns and other deliverables.

Qualified candidates should possess CFP and CPA, CPA/PFP, EA or similar designations.​

Qualifications

Must be able to successfully manage multiple assignments, develop quality relationships, communicate clearly, identify client needs and service opportunities, and propose solutions as issues arise.

Knowledge of and constant learning of financial planning techniques and opportunities, federal and tax regulations

Knowledge of present value, regression analysis, Monte Carlo simulations and other tools

Ability to model client situations, develop scenarios and find optimal solutions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

Financial planning and tax software experience is required.

Carries out planning, analysis, investment, and other decisions that affect client well-being and relationships, consulting with managers and peers as needed.

Grows existing client relationships by identifying opportunities for additional services that address client needs.

An undergraduate or advanced degree in a related discipline such as Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, Mathematics or Economics

Certified Public Accountant & Tax Preparer
This role requires several (ideally 3+) years of U.S. tax preparation experience, and accounting knowledge for preparation, compilation and review of financial statements. An extensive knowledge of technical accounting and control procedures is required. This person will prepare and assist with individual, business and other entity tax returns, and provide accounting, research, systems and other related services, as needed.
Must be able to successfully manage multiple assignments, develop quality relationships, identify client needs and service opportunities, and propose solutions as issues arise. There are opportunities to provide strategic consulting services, prepare personal financial plans, train and coach client staff, and perform business valuations.
Qualified candidates must possess CPA designation. QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification strongly preferred.

Tax Accountant & Bookkeeper
This job requires bookkeeping, preparation and compilation of financial statements for tax return preparation. Candidates should have experience specifically with accounting for tax prep, or tax preparation experience. An extensive knowledge of technical accounting and control procedures is required. This person will prepare and assist with individual, business and other tax returns, payroll, research and other accounting related duties. Must be able to successfully manage multiple assignments, develop quality relationships, identify client needs and service opportunities, and propose solutions as issues arise.

Qualifications:

Fundamental knowledge of GAAP

QuickBooks experience required, Lacerte experience a plus
